We are at the forefront of defending church-state separation and everyone’s right to live as themselves and believe as they choose.

Your contributions will help us: 

• Safeguard Democracy Against the Shadow Network: We will continue to protect church-state separation from disinformation and the Christian Nationalist efforts to make America a Christian nation.
• Protect Public Schools: We will keep fighting in court, state legislatures and communities to stop Christian Nationalists and other extremists from using public schools to indoctrinate students—including our lawsuits against Louisiana’s Ten Commandments law and Oklahoma’s proposed religious public charter school.
• Defend Real Religious Freedom: Religious freedom is not a license to discriminate, and we fight back against extremists who try to use it to justify harm against Black and brown people, LGBTQ+ people, women, religious minorities, the non-religious, and any marginalized groups who don’t follow their beliefs.
• Engage & Educate: Through film screenings, speaking engagements, and valuable resources like our Know Your Rights in Public School guides, we will empower people nationwide to recommit to the separation of church and state, protecting individual freedoms and strengthening our democracy for all.
