Alexandra Zaretsky is Litigation Counsel at Americans United for Separation of Church and State. Before joining Americans United, Alexandra was an Equal Justice Works Fellow and a Cleary Gottlieb Pro Bono Fellow at the International Refugee Assistance Project, where she worked on federal court litigation to advance and defend the rights of refugees, asylum seekers, and other people in need of humanitarian relocation.
Alexandra received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and received a B.A. in English and History from Northwestern University. She is a member of the New York state bar.
