Luke Anderson is a constitutional litigation fellow at AU. He earned a B.A. in History and Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he served as the Executive Notes Editor on the Columbia Law Review. Luke also served as an extern for Judge Denny Chin of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ashley Hunt-Martorano is AU’s events manager. She graduated summa cum laude from Marshall University with a B.A. in Psychology and cum laude from Stony Brook University/SUNY (‘09) with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Prior to joining AU, Ashley was marketing & events manager at Citizens’ Climate Lobby, where she organized annual conferences and lobby days in Washington, D.C.
Alessandro Terenzoni is vice president of public policy. Before joining AU, he served as deputy director of the office for civil rights within the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs. In his career, he has also been an adjunct law professor, legal aid lawyer and public school teacher. Alessandro is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and Tufts University.
Jess Zalph is a constitutional litigation fellow. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she earned a master’s in History from Brown University and received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. At Penn, Jess was a Levy Scholar and Comments Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and a full-time legal intern for NPR Legal Affairs Correspondent Nina Totenberg.
Alexandra Zaretsky is litigation counsel. A member of the New York State Bar, she previously worked as an Equal Justice Works Fellow and a Cleary Gottlieb Pro Bono Fellow at the International Refugee Assistance Project. Alexandra holds a B.A. in English and History from Northwestern University and received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
