I’m so excited to announce that we’re now accepting applications for AU’s 2024-2025 Youth Organizing Fellowship program!
The Fellowship is an exciting – and paid – opportunity for emerging activists to grow as leaders, build power with a national cohort of youth organizers, and advocate for religious freedom and the separation of church and state.
With AU’s support, the Fellows will:
* Serve as ambassadors for AU and our mission.
* Educate their communities about the importance of church-state separation.
* Plan events and activities to mobilize members of their communities to take action.
Anyone living in the U.S., including its territories, ages 18-25, is invited to apply today to become an AU Youth Organizing Fellow. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, June 30. (And if you’re not eligible, please forward this information to young activists you know or direct them to au.org/youthfellows.)
Americans United will select applicants who are interested in activism and religious freedom, share our values of freedom without favor and equality without exception and have a wide range of experience with advocacy and organizing. The Fellowship kicks off virtually in September 2024, followed by an in-person convening in Washington, D.C., in October and continuing virtually over the course of a year.
